Myrrh 30 Jumbo Backflow Incense Cones Tribal Soul

Tribal Soul Myrrh Backflow Incense Cones

Myrrh has a long history dating back thousands of years. Though perhaps best known for its use in incense and ancient rituals, this substance -  which boasts proven antiseptic and inflammatory properties - was once considered an effective remedy for everything from toothaches to leprosy. There are textual - and also archaeological - evidence that both frankincense and myrrh were used as medicinal substances in antiquity.

Both Frankincense and Myrrh are derived from the gummy sap that oozes out of the Boswellia and Commiphora trees, respectively, when their bark is cut. The leaking resin is allowed to harden and scraped off the trunk in tear-shaped droplets; it may then be used in its dried form or steamed to yield essential oils. Both substances are edible and often chewed like gum. They are also extremely fragrant, particularly when burned, with frankincense giving off a sweet, citrusy scent and myrrh producing a piney, bitter odor.

Myrrh purifies & amplifies intentions. Due to its antimicrobial properties, Myrrh has traditionally been used to treat oral infections and inflammation.

It is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda and aromatherapy.

How to burn backflow incense cones

  • Cone incense holder should be placed in a windless environment. Otherwise, the miracle of come incense smog pouring down, like a waterfall, will not come out.
  • Light the tip of the incense cone till highlighted red mark (75% of the tip).
  • Gently extinguish the flame by fanning. Your cone should  give off a delicate wisp of pale fragrant smoke indicating that it is slowly burning or "smoldering."
  • Place on/in a cone burner with the tip facing up and watch the cascade effect.
  • Be careful handling the cone when lit and when removing from the burner as they can be very hot. We advise using thongs.

Note: Never burn incense unattended and always keep it out of reach of children. Burn incense in a suitable incense holder or incense box in a well-ventilated area.
